Announcing (the) BRRW.
BRRW is an experiment in funding human curiosity and independent research. And vowels cost extra.
BRRW is an experiment, which is done with full transparency.
How does it work?
Readers can subscribe to BRRW for anywhere between €3/month to €100/month (or the equivalent in $ / £), and will receive two human-curated emails a week featuring between 10-15 links (and blurbs) to recent posts in newsletters in our network of contributors that we particularly enjoyed.
What topics will it include?
Yes. We have no idea what people will post every week. That's part of the fun.
How is this different than any other curated email?
50% of all subscription revenue is distributed between the contributors whose articles are mentioned in the each newsletter.
Will there be transparency?
Yes. Every email will include the total number of subscribers, the total amortized value for the email, and how much each contributor will receive.
Can we also subscribe directly to the contributors or tip them directly?
Yes. We suggest that readers directly subscribe to any contributor's newsletter that they enjoy. And nothing would make us happier than you giving our contributors even more money directly. Each contributor will have a tip link on their own site.
Why are you doing this?
We are affiliated with the new Institute for Human Curiosity being launched in Urbino, Italy. We want to be able to support and promote human curiosity and curious humans.
